Sun Microsystems has released its latest version on 13th October 2008 that is commonly known as Openoffice.org 3.0

ISO standard (ODF) OpenDocument Format is the defult file format of openoffice.org for data interchange, Openoffice.org also supports some other formats such as Microsoft office 97 – 2003 formats, Microsoft office 2007-format etc. Sun Microsystems has released its latest version on 13th October 2008 that is commonly known as Openoffice.org 3.0. The latest version of openoffice has a number of amazing features such as the ability to import documents from other software suits such as Microsoft Office 2007. It also offers improved support for VBA macros and a native port for Mac OS x. Openoffice.org 3.0 also provides support for the new ODF 1.2 document format.
