Convert FAT to NTFS file system in XP.

Converting FAT system to NTFS file system is very simple. Convert.exe is used for this purpose.

Open Run, type cmd for open dos.

Type this command in the dos

CONVERT [driveletter]: /FS:NTFS.

Conversion from FAT to NTFS the chance of corruption of data is minimal, anyhow its best practice to make a backup fast.
